from Susan Coleman-Smith, of Efficiency Vermont, & Teri Rainville-Scott of Central Vermont Public Service:
The first was a joint presentation by Susan Coleman-Smith from Efficiency Vermont, and Terry Rainville-Scott from Central Vermont Public Service Corporation. Susan and Terry discussed programs and opportunities, that their organizations are involved in, designed to help us better understand ways to manage utilities and conserve resources. The presentation coved a wide range of incentive programs and suggested ways that their organizations are willing to aid us to these ends. Good interaction between our members and the presenters demonstrated a sincere desire and willingness to work together to achieve our mutual goals. Both Terry and Susan expressed the availability to schedule time with anyone wishing to develop better resource/utility management programs.
Phil Bresnihan from Control Technologies presented DDC for energy management to control devices for systems, and equipment. The DDC system can monitor the KW. in order to control
Equipment motors, VFD speed drives, and also lighting. Electronic sensors & controls can replace pneumatic action for better reliability and accuracy.

12:00 p.m. Business Meeting
Secretary/Treasurer Report: The VHES account Balance $2824.76. with no outstanding checks or activity. The Bank balance was reconciled & coincided with the check book. Website Update: There will be a $500 deposit from NEHES to aid in the development of the site. Membership & dues can be done on the Web site.
Membership Status: There are 41 VHES Members total. 28 Members owe 2007 Dues, 20 owe 2006 Dues & 12 still owe for 2005 dues. Member list with status was given out. The issue of Membership review and money transaction will be addressed by the officers.
Theron Manning provided a facility tour of Gifford's Nursing Home and Physical Plant
